Osbel Borges
Dr. Borges obtained his degree in Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He graduated with honors and was presented with an award in “Outstanding Achievements and Performance in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery” by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He was also awarded membership to Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society.
His interest in medicine and surgery led Dr. Borges to the pursuit of additional training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed his residency training at Nova Southeastern University in south Florida, where he developed a special interest in dentoalveolar surgery, implant reconstruction, orthognathic surgery and facial trauma. He has also received extensive training in the diagnosis and management of oral cancer, and has played a key role in the surgical management of patients with anomalies of jaw relations.
Dr. Borges has hospital affiliations in Broward Health Medical Center and Memorial Regional Hospital, both level I trauma centers. He has participated in numerous advanced facial reconstruction cases and was chief of a busy head and neck cancer service, offering a wide array of treatment options to patients with head and neck malignancies.
Dania Melnick Alonso
Dr. Dania Melnick Alonso, who is simply referred to by her patients as “Dr. Melnick,” has always loved dentistry from a very young age. Her mother, a dentist in Coral Gables for 25 years, taught her the importance of approaching dentistry with a gentle, caring and patient-centered perspective. Dr. Melnick believes that treating each patient as if they were a member of her family is the key to her success.
Dr. Melnick attended the University of Miami, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in 1998. She attended Tufts University of Dental Medicine, where she graduated in 2002. After graduating, she immediately was sought out to work for an incredible practice right outside of Boston, Massachusetts. In 2005, Dr. Melnick decided it was time to return to Coral Gables to raise her family and practice dentistry.
Dr. Melnick makes sure she is on top of the latest scientific and technological trends. She has been using digital impressions in her everyday practice since 2008. Dr. Melnick states, “Dentistry has never been more comfortable for our patients than it is today. Technology absolutely matters, and learning what is new in our profession will always be a top priority for me as a dentist.”
Dental health is connected to a person’s overall health, so it is important to know how everything is connected so a dentist can treat a patient as a whole. Dr. Melnick volunteers her time at Camillus Health as a member of the Camillus Health Clinical Quality Forum. She is involved in making sure that dental services that the clinic provides our homeless community is connecting dental health to overall health.
When Dr. Melnick is not learning and reading about dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters.
Dayami Venereo
Dayami Venereo, licensed APRN with 3 years of experience specializing in Aesthetics, has a gift for providing aesthetics and beauty enhancement for her patients.
She specializes in cosmetic injectables and has trained with top injectors in Miami and nationally. As our lead injector, she is dedicated to giving each client the look that they desire. Dayami is a good fit for all patients, whether they are looking for quick treatments or a long term enhancement. Dayami is both confident and compassionate, and has been a blessing to have at Forma Med Spa. She is able to speak English & Spanish fluently, so she is able to make patients feel educated and at ease.
Marianna Pasciuta
Marianna Pasciuta, DDS, MS, is a Prosthodontist practitioner in Miami, FL.
She provides specialized comprehensive prosthetic and restorative dental care, uniquely tailored to patients experiencing unesthetic smiles, dental wear, missing and/or fractured teeth.
Her treatment philosophy involves the detailed evaluation of the patient’s esthetics and functional needs and is based upon principles of minimally invasive and preservative dentistry. The scope of her dental services includes the use of porcelain veneers, crowns, bridges, and implant-supported restorations.
Dr. Pasciuta received her dental degree at the Central University of Venezuela in Caracas. Immediately after, she pursued Advanced Graduate Certifications and Master of Science degree in Operative Dentistry at the University of Iowa, followed by Prosthodontics at the Louisiana State University in New Orleans.
For the past 17 years, Dr. Pasciuta, has been involved in academia while also maintaining a private practice. Currently, she is fully dedicated to private practice.
When not in the dental office, Dr. Pasciuta enjoys traveling, water sports, and time with family and friends.
